He overthrows her and she jumps to catch it, but when she lands, she falls down to the grass. Her ankle has rolled out from under her during the fall and she can barely move. She slowly sits up as her football partner rushes over to her to see if she is OK. She rubs her ankle, and he suggests she remove her sneaker. She howls in pain as he helps her loosen the laces then slowly peel the sneaker off her otherwise bare foot. He helps her straighten her leg out and he lightly touches it, but it hurts too much. She brings her foot back closer to herself ans tries to work it out on her own. She even stands up, to see just how bad it is. She crumbles right back down to the ground. She tries to pivot her foot left and right and around in little circles. She can feel the pain and swelling taking over. He helps her up, putting her arm around his shoulder. She limps away with him as he helps her walk back to the house to put ice on it.
