I love my new portable hair washing sink! Today, I've got Mia with me and she's ready for a thorough hair washing!!! I have her lean her head back into the basin as I ready the water. I spray down her hair, thoroughly saturating it. I add a heaping handful of shampoo to my hands and begin working it throughout her short dark hair. I use my fingers to scrub all over her scalp and I bring the shampoo all the way through to her ends. Once her hair has been worked into a nice lather, it's time to rinse. I turn on the sprayer and begin rinsing all the shampoo bubbles from her hair. I add a second handful of shampoo to my hands and repeat the process. This time her hair gets super sudsy! I continue working the shampoo through her hair, making sure it is super clean. Mia loves the way it feels! I rinse away the shampoo again, making sure not to miss any. I spray under her hair, around her ears, and over the top. Next it's time for some conditioner. Even though her hair is short, I still use a handful of conditioner. I work it throughout her hair with my fingers, rubbing and massaging her head as I do so. I use a wide tooth blue comb to bring the conditioner all the way through to her ends. One final rinse and Mia has beautifully clean soft silky hair! I towel dry her hair and work the comb through one last time.
