Very over due but here they are pics from my trip to Africa and my summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro. I will warn you I may not look the best considering I was on the side of a mountain for 7 days without a shower lol but I do want to share one of the biggest accomplishments of my life with you. The pictures are not exactly in order since everyone on the trip shared with each other. I took the Lemosha route up. It is a longer route but has the highest success rate. It is bester for acclimatization. Along the way you see a ton of creatures in their natural habitat which is just super cool. The guides are amazing! I can't believe the hard work they do and always keep a smile on their faces. They were carrying all the equipment, lapping me up and down the mountain while I was barely making it. Carrying stuff on their heads without even holding it. The food consisted of lots of soup so you stay hydrated. One day we had fried chicken and french fries! I was soooo happy lol The summit push was hard 16 hours up and back 19,340 feet but totally worth it. After the climb I went on a Safari Adventure to Ngorongoro Crater. The Lion King Had to be made after this place. It was unbelievable!! Animals everywhere just living together. I saw lions, hyenas, zebras, no tigers or bears ;-) Visited with a tribe. It really was a trip of a lifetime.
